Mickey Mouse Day--Thursday, February 9, 2012

We had our own version of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse at WIPP today! We donned our best Mickey Mouse shirts and played with our favorite Mickey Mouse toys to celebrate the coolest character with an M name. We read Mickey Meets the Giant  and played Mickey Mouse Memory.

We also had other great activities going on in the classroom. We made a very cool Valentine's painting using marbles, a box lid, and some strategically placed paint. The kids learned about inclines and declines by tipping the box top forward and backward and side to side in order to roll the marbles through the paint. The laws of physics have some really colorful results!

Our favorite M activity by far happens every Thursday at 10:35. Ms. Caitlin comes for music!
