Today we officially bid farewell to January 2012. The kids are excited to begin a new month, especially since we celebrate Valentine's Day in February. They are also anticipating the 100th day of school, and our countdown sticker chart now has only 12 spots left for stickers. We got ready for February by decorating our February calendars.

We also made jellyfish to hang from the ceiling. This project was very exciting for the kids because it meant we took down the beautiful fish they made several weeks ago and sent them home to Mom and Dad.

We also had to capture a shot of the delicious and adorable snack that Emily's mom sent for the class today. We noshed on heart shaped cereal to kick off the Valentine's Day season.
