Today was a busy day! We finished up our Kk unit by practicing our Kk words and putting them in the kangaroo pouch. We also celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by creating our own Cat in the Hat paper plates and Thing 1 and Thing 2 popsicle sticks. Ms. Laura, who was subbing for Ms. Hill, read
The Lorax in celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday AND the release of the movie. We also had a great Show and Tell. Even Mongo Brooks, Sophia's doggie, made a surprise appearance.

Daniel was our leader on this special day. He did a great job!
We finished our day with a little "one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish" snack.
